Tonight I ran Sarah Vaughn. All of it. A whooping total of 2.9 miles. Thanks to my neighbor John, I actually got out there and ran tonight. The best part was that the run actually felt good. We ran around a 10:15 pace. The pace felt light and I wasn't hobbling at the end - it felt so nice to finish a run dragging myself into the driveway like Egor. I am now sure I'll be able to finish my leg of the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth Half Marathon Relay next weekend.
So even though the real Sarah Vaughan spells her name differently than my neighborhood road, I named this blog entry after one of my favorite songs that she sings because it is so light and fun. Tomorrow I head back to the osteopathic dr. for another session with my bewildered dr.
